The Louisville Hot Club offers weekly sessions of classic jazz played in their best booming fidelity from the original 78rpm discs. Hosted by WXOX ART-FM's Justin Brown and WKCR-FM's Matthew "Fat Cat" Rivera, the meetings may be themed or a potpourri of jazz from the 78 era (1917 to ~1953). The music ranges from Blues to BeBop, from Jazz Age Hot to West Coast Cool.
Held at the beautiful 1920s style speakeasy, Hell or High Water, The Louisville Hot Club promises fun, laid back listening and expert commentary in an intimate environment.
The club meets each Wednesday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Hell or High Water (112 W Washington St, Louisville, KY 40202). We highly recommend you make your reservation at www.hellorhighwaterbar.com today as the club tends to book up!
